DGR Board Elections
Dear DGR community,
We are excited to announce that we will be holding elections for a new Board of Members (Vorstand) in September. Therefore we would like to invite those of you who have a vision for how the DGR could develop to nominate yourselves for the new Board.
The following roles are open for election:
- President (Erste Vorsitzende)
- Vice President (Zweite Vorsitzende)
- Treasurer (Schatzmeister)
- Secretary (Schriftführer)
Please see the DGR Statutes (Satzung) for a description of the responsibilities of the Vorstand.
Here are the steps to self-nominate:
Interested candidates should send an email to dgr@robotics.tu-berlin.de with the subject line "DGR Vorstand Nomination: {Role}", including in the body their name and the role they would like to run for by 23:59 CEST on August 15, 2026.
In addition, candidates must submit a program outlining their vision for the DGR by 23:59 CEST on August 31, 2026. The submission should be in the format of a PDF with a maximum length of 1 page.
All candidates need to be members of the DGR by 23:59 CEST on August 15, 2026.
The programs of the candidates will be published on the DGR website to all registered members on September 3. This will be followed by an online town hall meeting and Q&A on the tentative date of September 10. The election will then take place on September 17 during the RIG General Meeting in Berlin (and online). All registered members will receive a link to vote and join online.
